We, The Squirrels, aim to deal with our customers in a fair and equitable manner and to provide a decent service and products that we would be delighted to receive ourselves. You will find The Squirrels very easy to deal with and very fair in their dealings. However in this day and age it is necessary to outline one or two points so that we all know where we stand and so here they are:

We can accept orders from our customers by email, by fax, through the post or using the shopping cart facilities on our website.
We require full payment with the order. We can accept cheques but they must be in UK sterling currency and will obviously have to clear prior to the despatch of the goods.
We will advise the cost of carriage which we base on the current rates for Parcelforce small parcels. If it turns out to be any different to the current rates offered by Parcelforce small parcels, for example in the case of larger consignments that would warrant the use of some other service, then we would obviously advise you of this and we would only use such a service once we receive written instructions from you to proceed.
Delivery times depend upon a variety of factors. Where you are, whether the pieces are available from stock or are being made at the time of order and so on. We will advise you of the situation and give you our best estimate of the delivery period, often by putting this information on the website and within your order acknowledgement.
Where the goods offered on our website are handcrafted items it should be understood that they may differ in some details from the photographs depicting them on our website. There are likely to be some slight differences such as the decorative details, the colour of stones, the diameter of the bamboo and so on which you might expect with items of this kind. Similarly, dimensions included in the description of the pieces are intended to be a guide only (though the size of the pieces will not differ too drastically from them in practice). This adds to the individualism of the products - they are unique pieces and in some cases it is almost as if they each have a unique personality!
If you have any reason to dispute the order on delivery of the goods then you must advise us of this within 5 working days. Do not just send us the goods back - we will only refund orders that we have agreed to do so.You must pay the cost of carriage to return the goods to us.
We do not in any way sell or share customer information with any third party companies or organizations. Customer information is only used for the direct purpose of completing orders and financial transactions related to orders. If you wish to receive information from our website we will ask you first to authorise us to do so before sending such information to you.
Prices are subject to change without notice although we do endeavour to advise if there are any pending price changes as a courtesy to our customers by putting an announcement to that effect on our website.
All returned cheques are subject to a £10.00 service fee. Similarly, any additional costs incurred by us as a result of your chosen method of payment (other than PayPal) we will pass on to you.
Finally we would like to reassure our customers that we appreciate that circumstances arise which are outside both your and our control. We can only deal with these as they occur and we will do so in a fair manner. We do not believe that the Squirrels can do no wrong - but on the other hand we do not subscribe to the view that the customer is always right!
