Each Chinese Sky Lantern is made from biodegradable, flame resistant paper with a bamboo hoop. The solid fuel is attached with thin metal wire and comes individually wrapped in a poly bag.
Each Lantern comes with full safety instructions which must be read before use.
Chinese Sky Lanterns are safe when used correctly but they are not toys and they should not be used by children. Common sense is needed - for example, they should never be launched in windy conditions or in a confined space. They should not be used near airports or under flight paths. Remember also that once released the lantern will not return to the ground until the fuel source has been exhausted.
